On a national level, Equifax is just the latest company to experience a security breach. On a more local level, are you concerned about what information is on your old computer that could be leaked or revealed, which in turn is why that old computer is still sitting in the corner!!
To get rid of your computer and still be safe, all that you need to do is remove the hard drive. That is the only item in your whole computer (laptop or desktop) that contains your data. The hard drive is normally not too difficult to remove and is very small. If you do a You Tube search for your computer and add “remove the hard drive” you will most like find a video that shows how to do this. Once it’s removed, just head to the nearest community e-cycle event.
